What do you know about Sintered Stone

Sintered Stone is a high performance building and decorative material. It is made by mixing natural inorganic mineral powders, such as quartz, feldspar and kaolin, with natural oxides and then sintering them under high pressure and temperature. The process is similar to the manufacture of ceramics, but Sintered Stone utilizes more advanced technology and higher pressures and temperatures, resulting in an extremely dense, strong, abrasion and chemical resistant material.

Key features of Sintered Stone include:

High Density and Hardness: Due to its sintering process, the rock slab has an extremely high density, which makes it harder and more resistant to abrasion than many natural stones.

Chemical Resistance: Slate is highly resistant to most acids, alkalis and solvents, making it ideal for kitchen countertops and other chemically susceptible surfaces.

Heat Resistance: Thanks to its high-temperature sintering production process, rock slab can withstand high temperatures and is not easily damaged by heat, making it suitable for use as a wallcovering around stoves or above ovens.

Anti-bacterial: the smooth surface of rock slabs has no pores, which makes it difficult for bacteria to survive, making it ideal for environments with high hygiene requirements.

Eco-friendly and healthy: Rock slabs are free of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and hazardous substances, and comply with green building standards, making them friendly to the human body and the environment.

Decorative: Rock slabs can mimic the appearance of a variety of natural stones, such as marble and granite, while offering consistent colors and patterns, and can be customized in a wide range of sizes and thicknesses for a variety of decorative needs.

Easy to clean and maintain: The non-porous surface of rock slabs is easy to clean and requires only simple wiping to remove stains.

Wide range of applications: Rock slabs can be used for kitchen countertops, bathroom walls and floors, furniture panels, exterior wall finishes, and many other applications.

HILIE CERAMICS has a unique technology and product line. The rock panels are available in a variety of sizes, with common sizes including, but not limited to, 1200x2400mm, 1200x2700mm, 1500x3200mm, etc., and thicknesses can range from 3mm to 20mm to accommodate different design and functional needs.
